These terms apply to Age of Nations, the browser game at ageofnations.world and its subdomains (the "game"), operated by the operator of Age of Nations ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying the Supporter plan you agree to them.

1. The game

Age of Nations is a free multiplayer strategy game played in the browser. You must be at least 13 years old to play. In the European Union, players under 16 need the consent of a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

• One account per person. Second accounts, shared accounts and accounts played for someone else are not allowed. Family members sharing a device or network can apply for a family group.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your password private.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

3. Rules of conduct

You agree to follow the community rules. Hate against any community or religion, harassment, cheating, bots, multi-accounts and real-money trading are not allowed. Staff may warn, mute, restrict or ban accounts that break the rules, and may remove content. Every sanction names the rule broken and can be appealed.

4. Virtual items and money

Gold, national currencies, resources, items and everything else in the game are virtual. They have no cash value, are not your property and cannot be exchanged for real money. Buying, selling or trading accounts, items or in-game money for real money is not allowed. We may correct balances after a bug or abuse, always with a recorded reason.

5. Supporter plan, payments and refunds

• What it is. The Supporter plan is an optional monthly subscription that costs US$2.99 per month. It gives 5 saved equipment sets (instead of 1), 30 saved kits (instead of 6) and a Supporter badge on your profile. It gives no advantage in combat or the economy. The current price and benefits are always shown on the pricing section before you pay.
• Who sells it. Payments are processed by Creem, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Creem handles checkout, billing, invoices and sales tax or VAT, and its own terms also apply to the purchase. We never see or store your card details.
• Renewal. The plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. Prices include or add applicable taxes as shown at checkout.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt e-mail or by writing to [email protected]. After cancelling, your benefits continue until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
• Refunds. If you are not happy, ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment at [email protected] and we will refund that payment in full. Where the law of your country gives you further rights (for example an EU right of withdrawal), those rights apply. Refunds are paid by Creem to the original payment method.
• Changes to the price. If the price changes, we tell subscribers by e-mail at least 14 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
• Bans. If an account is banned for breaking the rules, an active subscription is cancelled; we refund the unused part of the current month.

6. Content you create

You keep the rights to articles, messages, names and images you create, and you allow us to store and show them inside the game. Content that breaks the rules can be removed.

7. Service as is

The game is provided as is and as available, without any warranty of availability or of the persistence of game state. We may change, pause, reset or end the game, with notice where possible. If we end the game, active subscriptions stop and unused time is refunded. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from play, downtime, bugs or resets.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms or the rules.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes are announced in the game. Continuing to play after that date means you accept them.
